Maybe, my story sounds familiar.
I excitedly brought home a new puppy, only to realize that my life would never be the same again.
That puppy, Mika, was a terror. She tore my clothes, bit, and at only 11 weeks old, was already so strong that she was pulling me off my feet on walks. Mika was a lovely puppy, but she was just so much.
I followed trainers' advice. I exercised her more. We did more obedience training. We did so much socialization. Everything I did only seemed to make things worse. But we managed, and eventually found a nice, happy equilibrium.
Then I brought home Casper...
In an attempt to save what little of my sanity was remaining, I went in search of answers. I stopped listening to the advice of trainers, and began listening to my pups' emotions.
Before, my life revolved around managing my chaos monkeys. But today, my home is peaceful, fun, and stress-free.
And I want others to experience this same transformation.
Oh, and I also happen to be studying to become a Dog Behaviour Specialist.
